We understand by the Written Word of Elohim that these Yisraelites who had separated from Judah 250 years earlier (971 BCE) and who had, for the most part, forsaken the Covenants and the Neviim of Yahweh were warned by Yahweh Elohim that if they persistently continued in their mixing of the True Hebraic Faith with Baal Worship and all it`s idolatories and the forsaking of their Covenants that Yahweh would disperse them among all nations. Their response was that they killed His Neviim, rejected His Covenants, and destroyed the Alter of Yahweh. He therefore brought Judgement; The rest is History. The state and manner of the worship of these ancient backslidden Yisraelites was almost identical as that of the Druids of Ancient Scotland. In fact, there are many records of Baal worship in the ancient (and not so ancient) histories of both Ireland and Scotland. RABBI MOSHE BEN MAIMON (1135-1204) One of the most famous of Jewish Rabbis was Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon (Maimondes) who was born on erev Pesach which fell on Shabbat in the year 1135 in the city of Cordova, Southern Spain. He came from a family of great Torah Scholars which extended back to Rabbeinu HaKodesh who, as is known in Jewry came from the Royal family of David the King. Maimondes Halachic Masterpiece is the Mishnah Torah. He died in 1204. Rabbi Moshe was an astronomer, philosopher, physician and most able expositor of all the Hebrew Scriptures. So highly respected is he that even today over 800 years after his death, he is regarded as the Second Moses. Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon made this declaration after many many years of Biblical and historical study; “ I believe that the Ten Tribes to be in various parts of West Europe.” --------------------------- NOW THE TESTIMONY OF A 2ND SCHOLAR RABBI MOSHE BEN NACHMAN (1194-1270) Extract from his book; “The Book of Redemption” (Sefer HaGeulah) The Two Sticks of Ezekiel 37 by Nachmanides (Moshe ben Nachman) Moshe Ben Nachman (Nachmanides) was one of the greatest Biblical scholars of all times. Born in Spain, he became known as an illustrious authority on the Talmud and was a most excellent Bible Commentator. His principle work, a `Commentary on Torah` contains halachic interpretations, ethical lessons, Kabbalistic allusions, as well as literal explanations in which he frequently disagrees with either the Great Rashi or Ibn Ezra. Rabbi Nachman had great respect for Rabbi Maimon. It is said that Nachmanides represented Judaism from the side of emotion and feeling, as Maimonides did from the viewpoint of reason and logic. He, Rabbi Nachman, attached importance to the subject of the Lost Ten Tribes (as did Rabbi Maimon) and spoke of them in several places. In the following articles Nachmanides gives us some important insights. "There were actually thirteen tribes of Yisrael. The people of Ysrael include two sections, which are the Ten Tribes of Ysrael and the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin known collectively as Judah. Several Exiles occurred to the people of Ysrael. The Bible prophesied each one separately." Nachmanides discusses these prophecies and distinguishes between them. "Just as part of Judah was exiled with the northern tribes so too did some people from the ten tribes remain with Judah. Their descendants are now to be found amongst the present-day Jews. The overwhelming majority of the Ten Tribes however were exiled by the Assyrians and never returned though they are destined to do so. The Ten Tribes (said Nachmanides in ca. 1260 CE) are still in Tserefath (France and its neighbourhood) and `at the ends of the north`,"(meaning at that time the northern areas of Europe.. editor.) Where it says, “For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions” by “the children of Israel his companions” it means Benjamin who was attached to Judah. Similarly it says, “For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions.” The section is quite plain. The two kingdoms will unite into one kingdom under the House of David. The Israelites went into Exile and ever since then Ephraim and all (the ten tribes of northern) Israel have never (again) been in the Land of Israel. Concerning the future it says, “And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore” Behold I will recall a matter that is expressly mentioned many times in Scripture. It is known that with the Return of the Exiles under Ezra only the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin returned. These had been exiled to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar. This is what it says concerning the beginning of that Redemption, (Ezra 1:5) "Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem”. They said in the Midrash Seder Olam, - (Obadiah 1:11-18) "There are those who say that this prophecy of Obadiah is referring to King Hezekiah in the Second Temple period but those who think so are in error. It is obvious from Scripture that this term, i.e. House of Joseph, applies to the Kingdom of Israel who are the Ten Tribes. They should be ashamed not to recognize this fact! The above verse proves it! When was the House of Joseph like a flame devouring the stubble of Esau? Not in Biblical times! The Ten Tribes had already been exiled and they are still in Exile, in the area of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath: “And this first exile of the children of Israel who are (now) from Canaan unto Zarephath” (Obadiah 1:20)". (Rashi, Iben Ezra, Radak and others say that Zarephath means France, Abarbanel says it means France and Britain). These places are at the extremes of the north. The verse continues, "And the captivity of Jerusalem which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south” (Obadiah 1:20). Those who were exiled to “Sepharad” (meaning Spain) were the Jews of Jerusalem who were taken away by Titus and Vespasian when the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans (AD70) and not before then. The others were the Ten Tribes who were exiled in the First Exile. These have not returned as has been claimed." (editorial note:“Zarephath” according to Rabbinical Commentators (Rashi, Iben Ezra, Radak, and all Medieval authorities) refers to France or more specifically northern France and probably included present-day Belgium and Holland. Abarbanel said that “Zarephath” included both France and “Island of England” (i.e. Britain). The words translated in the King James Version as -“the captivity of this host” - in Hebrew `Galut HaChail` can also mean `the first exile` and so was the understanding of RabbinicalCommentators. -end of editorial note.) Nachmanides continues: `When did they (the Ten Tribes) come back and when were these enormous exiled groups ingathered to inherit the cities of Ephraim and Samaria? When did saviours go up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau? In the time of Ezra only a few returned as pigeons to their dovecotes. It says, “the kingdom shall be the LORD's” (Obadiah 1:21). At that time everyone will openly acknowledge the Kingdom of God. “And the LORD shall be King over all the earth” (Zechariah 14;9). This too will happen in the future. The general principle concerning these and all similar verses concerning the Redemption of Israel and the fall of Edom and the like is that it is all for the future. “The punishment of your iniquity is finished daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity. He will visit your iniquity, daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins” (Lamentations 4;22). This is all for the future. “He will no more carry you away into captivity,” is instructing us about the future redemption. If it was otherwise what would be the point of saying to those in exile that they would no longer be exiled unless it meant that they really are destined to be redeemed from the exile they are in? Also, “he will visit your iniquity, daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins”, must be for the future. It could not be speaking of the past for it was they (i.e. the Israelite Jews) who were beaten by Herod the Edomite in the time of the Second Temple (AD70). It all must pertain to the future.It is impossible that this was all conditional, that they did not deserve it, and that the prophecies were spoken for nothing. It is pertinent that at the time of their exile Israel were sinning and transgressing. Even so, it was prophesied, “The punishment of your iniquity is finished daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity” (Lamentations 4;22). This was not conditional, meaning to say that on condition that they repented then they would have been redeemed. This is not the way of Prophecies to make such limited conditions. Rather it all pertains to the future.Zechariah lived in the Second Temple period. Zechariah said, “Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,” and so on in great detail that without any doubt can only be referring to some future day. So too, were these passages explained by the Commentators and by our holy sages of blessed memory." END OF THE SHORTENED VERSION OF NACHMANIDES "THE TEN TRIBES WILL RETURN" ------------------------------------- AND NOW THE TESTIMONY OF A 3RD SCHOLARRABBI MOSHE EDREHI In more modern times, in the 1800`s, another well known and most distinguished Rabbi, scholar and teacher was Rabbi Moshe Edrehi.A teacher of both modern and oriental languages as well as a most excellent teacher of the Hebrew Faith and author of the book, `An Historical Account Of the Ten Tribes.`He, Rabbi Moshe Edrehi, was born in Morocco and taught religion in Amsterdam and England, spending many years researching historical records of the `Lost` Ten Tribes and wrote the following in his book, `An Historical Account Of TheTen Tribes`(1836).....`Orteleus, that great geographer, giving the description of Tartary, notices the Kingdom of Arsareth, where the Ten Tribes, retiring, succeeding (other) Scythian inhabitants, and took the name Gauther (Goths), because they were very jealous for the glory of God. In another place, he found the Naphtalites, who had their hordes there. He also discovered the Tribe of Dan in the North, which has preserved it`s name.....They further add, that the remains of Ancient Israel were more numerous here than in Muscovy or Poland - from which it is concluded, that their habitation was fixed in Tartary (ie Scythia) from whence they passed into neighbouring places... it is no wonder to find the Ten Tribes dispersed there; since it was no great way to go from Assyria, whither they were transported, having only Armenia betwixt them" (pp90-92). Rabbi Edrehi also finds Ancient Israel in France and Spain, for as he quotes the Prophet Obadi-Yah ch:7 vs 23, "And the captivity of the host of the Children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites (ie Phoenicians), even unto Zarephath (France), and the Captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad (Spain)..." The Ancient Nation of Scotland and the Celtic peoples as a whole have suffered severely from such severance from their Noble and Ancient Heritage , for very few it seems , are truly aware of their Ancestral Birthright, for after the ascendancy by brutal force of the Romish religion, within our Island Home, almost all references to the True Identity of the ancient Celtic races were airbrushed from historical sources but thanks be to our Elohim, the truth is in these last days, as prophesied, being again revealed, for Yahweh Ruach is doing a Work amongst multitudes of His people today that is resulting in the blinds being removed from their eyes as to their True Identity and Ancestral Lineage.

There is at this time, a worldwide phenomena also taking place in almost all nations where millions of men and women are searching out their roots. A deep desire to find out where their ancestors came from, who they were and what their station and vocation in life was, has gripped the imagination of multitudes and I don`t think that this is just a ``fad` or passing human interest, but I believe that it is a Work of our Elohim that is designed to bring the Goyim/Gentile nations of the world back to their ancient Heritage and Calling.

It is, I believe a fulfillment of the prophecy given by Hoshea the Prophet to Yisrael, 2.500 years ago. That is, the Restoration and Re-union of the 10 `Lost Tribes of Ephraim Yisrael with Judah And BenYamin (2 Tribes) as declared in the Prophecy of Hoshea.

To find Scotland`s place and indeed all of the Celtic Race`s place in all this we need to go back almost into the Mists of Time. Not into mythology , legend or fable for that does not serve a just and satisfiable quest for Truth, no, but our search is in the Annals of Ancient Historical sources of men whose records are unquestioned and accepted by historical and professional bodies worldwide.

Back even before the introduction of “Christianity” to Scotland in the 1st. Century.

Back to the time of “Druid Worship” for it is there that we discover a wondrous and amazing fact…

The deep, strong Link between the Druids and the Hebrews, and the true reason why Druidism so easily accepted and embraced the arrival of the Message of Yahshua and why the Romish religion felt it had to `change historical records`.

As mentioned, the airbrushing and falsifying of historical records was a marked trade of the Roman religion in order to make themselves appear more important and to denigrate the true Blood-washed, Torah Observant Followers of Yah`shua Hamoshiach, and also the earlier Religion of the Celtic Druids and nowhere was this more wickedly carried out than in the ancient records regarding the Celtic and especially the Druidic Faiths of Scottish and Irish Gaeldom.

It is also a historical and undeniable fact that the Romish religion has in most countries of the world and in every century since it`s ascendancy, persecuted to a man the Jewish Race and in almost every place sought by means legal (such legality always rejected by right-thinking people) and otherwise to eliminate every trace of the Hebraic Faith.

Historians have often wondered why the introduction of “Christianity” to Scotland in the 1st. Century CE was so easily accepted by the very devout, and supposedly blood-thirsty Druids. It is well-known that the Druidic Faith disappeared almost overnight after the arrival of “Christianity”.

The wondrous and glorious Fact is so breathtaking as to be almost unbelievable were it not for the many historical records and references that are now available as to the reason why.

Records testify that these Ancient Druids were not what we have been taught to believe after all.

Rome has done Satan a good service by rewriting history and forcefully eliminating the Hebrew and Jewish influences from our culture, traditions, religion and way of life.

Their wicked lies and rewritten history of the Druids and Celtic Christianity has brainwashed the minds of millions down through the centuries and even in the 21st. Century, school pupils are yet taught to believe that the Druids and ancient Celtic Christians were evil, perverse, blood-thirsty and grossly wicked peoples, whereas the Truth is exactly the opposite.

The Glorious Truth is that these ancient Druidic forefathers of ours were worshippers of the One True Elohim.

In fact not only were the communal-life, customs, traditions, civil courts, faith and religious rites, ceremonies and dress of the Celtic Druids and ancient Yisraelites strikingly similar but one of the most amazing discoveries is that the Ancient Druids would have been conversant with the ancient Yisraelites for their language was also strikingly similar.

Historians are now agreed that the exile and dispersion of the ancient Yisraelites from Assyria by King Tilgat Pilser the 3rd. In 721 BCE caused untold millions of these followers of Yahweh to migrate throughout the vast Syrian Empire, millions of them moving both westwards into Europe and eastwards into Asia before the Romans came the same way.

Nevertheless, even amongst the millions of that early Holocaust, there remained many true and faithful worshippers of Yahweh who were carried into exile along with the backslidden multitudes and who in spite of the state of the hearts of the people sought to hold onto and practice Torah Observance.

We understand by the Written Word of Elohim that these Yisraelites who had separated from Judah 250 years earlier (971 BCE) and who had, for the most part, forsaken the Covenants and the Neviim of Yahweh were warned by Yahweh Elohim that if they persistently continued in their mixing of the True Hebraic Faith with Baal Worship and all it`s idolatories and the forsaking of their Covenants that Yahweh would disperse them among all nations.

Their response was that they killed His Neviim, rejected His Covenants, and destroyed the Alter of Yahweh.

He therefore brought Judgement;

The rest is History.

The state and manner of the worship of these ancient backslidden Yisraelites was almost identical as that of the Druids of Ancient Scotland.

In fact, there are many records of Baal worship in the ancient (and not so ancient) histories of both Ireland and Scotland.

Nevertheless among these millions of backslidden Ancient Yisraelites who were now moving westwards to Europe there were still thousands of true worshippers of Yahweh who still sought, in spite of great adversity, to maintain the Faith of their forefather Avraham and who would in the process of time still maintain strong features of their Hebraic Faith in the Islands of Western Europe..

It is to these historical records we now go in order to seek once again to restore the “Faith that was once delivered to the Saints”.

And as a starter to our studies, once again we would do no better than to quote from some of Jewry`s most famous Rabbis and Teachers

Although this part of our Study of the Ten Lost Tribes is a historical one rather than a biblical one only, we nevertheless, consider it right to take the counsel of our Mar Yah, Yah`shua as found in Yochanan ch. 17:

"IT IS ALSO WRITTEN IN YOUR TORAH THAT THE TESTIMONY OF 2 MEN IS TRUE"

(quoting Deverim ch:19:15)

We have, therefore followed this Torah injunction and provided several most respected authorities on the Ten Lost Tribes.

RABBI MOSHE BEN MAIMON

(1135-1204)

One of the most famous of Jewish Rabbis was Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon (Maimondes) who was born on erev Pesach which fell on Shabbat in the year 1135 in the city of Cordova, Southern Spain. He came from a family of great Torah Scholars which extended back to Rabbeinu HaKodesh who, as is known in Jewry came from the Royal family of David the King.

Maimondes Halachic Masterpiece is the Mishnah Torah.

He died in 1204.

Rabbi Moshe was an astronomer, philosopher, physician and most able expositor of all the Hebrew Scriptures. So highly respected is he that even today over 800 years after his death, he is regarded as the Second Moses.

Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon made this declaration after many many years of Biblical and historical study;

“ I believe that the Ten Tribes to be in various parts of West Europe.”

RABBI MOSHE BEN NACHMAN

(1194-1270)

The Two Sticks of Ezekiel 37

by Nachmanides (Moshe ben Nachman)

Moshe Ben Nachman (Nachmanides) was one of the greatest Biblical scholars of all times. Born in Spain, he became known as an illustrious authority on the Talmud and was a most excellent Bible Commentator.

His principle work, a `Commentary on Torah` contains halachic interpretations, ethical lessons, Kabbalistic allusions, as well as literal explanations in which he frequently disagrees with either the Great Rashi or Ibn Ezra.

Rabbi Nachman had great respect for Rabbi Maimon. It is said that Nachmanides represented Judaism from the side of emotion and feeling, as Maimonides did from the viewpoint of reason and logic.

He, Rabbi Nachman, attached importance to the subject of the Lost Ten Tribes (as did Rabbi Maimon) and spoke of them in several places.

In the following articles Nachmanides gives us some important insights.

"There were actually thirteen tribes of Yisrael. The people of Ysrael include two sections, which are the Ten Tribes of Ysrael and the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin known collectively as Judah.

Several Exiles occurred to the people of Ysrael.

The Bible prophesied each one separately."

Nachmanides discusses these prophecies and distinguishes between them.

"Just as part of Judah was exiled with the northern tribes so too did some people from the ten tribes remain with Judah.

Their descendants are now to be found amongst the present-day Jews.

The overwhelming majority of the Ten Tribes however were exiled by the Assyrians and never returned though they are destined to do so.

The Ten Tribes (said Nachmanides in ca. 1260 CE) are still in Tserefath (France and its neighbourhood) and `at the ends of the north`,"

(meaning at that time the northern areas of Europe.. editor.)

The Two Sticks of Ezekiel 37

SHORTENED VERSION

"In Ezekiel (chapter thirty-seven) it speaks of future reunion: "Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick,and write upon it, `For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions`: then take another stick, and write upon it, `For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions`":

Here it speaks of a future Redemption for both Judah and Israel. Where it says, “For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions” by “the children of Israel his companions” it means Benjamin who was attached to Judah.

Similarly it says, “For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions.” The section is quite plain. The two kingdoms will unite into one kingdom under the House of David. The Israelites went into Exile and ever since then Ephraim and all (the ten tribes of northern) Israel have never (again) been in the Land of Israel.

Concerning the future it says, “And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore”

Behold I will recall a matter that is expressly mentioned many times in Scripture. It is known that with the Return of the Exiles under Ezra only the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin returned. These had been exiled to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar.

This is what it says concerning the beginning of that Redemption, (Ezra 1:5) "Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem”.

They said in the Midrash Seder Olam, - (Obadiah 1:11-18) "There are those who say that this prophecy of Obadiah is referring to King Hezekiah in the Second Temple period but those who think so are in error. It is obvious from Scripture that this term, i.e. House of Joseph, applies to the Kingdom of Israel who are the Ten Tribes. They should be ashamed not to recognize this fact! The above verse proves it! When was the House of Joseph like a flame devouring the stubble of Esau? Not in Biblical times! The Ten Tribes had already been exiled and they are still in Exile, in the area of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath: “And this first exile of the children of Israel who are (now) from Canaan unto Zarephath” (Obadiah 1:20)".

(Rashi, Iben Ezra, Radak and others say that Zarephath means France, Abarbanel says it means France and Britain). These places are at the extremes of the north.

The verse continues, "And the captivity of Jerusalem which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south” (Obadiah 1:20). Those who were exiled to “Sepharad” (meaning Spain) were the Jews of Jerusalem who were taken away by Titus and Vespasian when the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans (AD70) and not before then.

The others were the Ten Tribes who were exiled in the First Exile. These have not returned as has been claimed."

(editorial note:“Zarephath” according to Rabbinical Commentators (Rashi, Iben Ezra, Radak, and all Medieval authorities) refers to France or more specifically northern France and probably included present-day Belgium and Holland.

Abarbanel said that “Zarephath” included both France and “Island of England” (i.e. Britain).

The words translated in the King James Version as -“the captivity of this host” - in Hebrew `Galut HaChail` can also mean `the first exile` and so was the understanding of RabbinicalCommentators. -end of editorial note.)

Nachmanides continues: `When did they (the Ten Tribes) come back and when were these enormous exiled groups ingathered to inherit the cities of Ephraim and Samaria? When did saviours go up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau?

In the time of Ezra only a few returned as pigeons to their dovecotes. It says, “the kingdom shall be the LORD's” (Obadiah 1:21). At that time everyone will openly acknowledge the Kingdom of God. “And the LORD shall be King over all the earth” (Zechariah 14;9). This too will happen in the future.

The general principle concerning these and all similar verses concerning the Redemption of Israel and the fall of Edom and the like is that it is all for the future. “The punishment of your iniquity is finished daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity. He will visit your iniquity, daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins” (Lamentations 4;22). This is all for the future. “He will no more carry you away into captivity,” is instructing us about the future redemption.

If it was otherwise what would be the point of saying to those in exile that they would no longer be exiled unless it meant that they really are destined to be redeemed from the exile they are in? Also, “he will visit your iniquity, daughter of Edom; he will discover your sins”, must be for the future. It could not be speaking of the past for it was they (i.e. the Israelite Jews) who were beaten by Herod the Edomite in the time of the Second Temple (AD70). It all must pertain to the future.

It is impossible that this was all conditional, that they did not deserve it, and that the prophecies were spoken for nothing. It is pertinent that at the time of their exile Israel were sinning and transgressing. Even so, it was prophesied, “The punishment of your iniquity is finished daughter of Zion; he will no more carry you away into captivity” (Lamentations 4;22).

This was not conditional, meaning to say that on condition that they repented then they would have been redeemed. This is not the way of Prophecies to make such limited conditions.

Rather it all pertains to the future.Zechariah lived in the Second Temple period. Zechariah said, “Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,” and so on in great detail that without any doubt can only be referring to some future day. So too, were these passages explained by the Commentators and by our holy sages of blessed memory."

AND NOW THE TESTIMONY OF A 3RD SCHOLAR

RABBI MOSHE EDREHI

In more modern times, in the 1800`s, another well known and most distinguished Rabbi, scholar and teacher was Rabbi Moshe Edrehi.

A teacher of both modern and oriental languages as well as a most excellent teacher of the Hebrew Faith and author of the book, `An Historical Account Of the Ten Tribes.`

He, Rabbi Moshe Edrehi, was born in Morocco and taught religion in Amsterdam and England, spending many years researching historical records of the `Lost` Ten Tribes and wrote the following in his book,

`An Historical Account Of TheTen Tribes`(1836).....

`Orteleus, that great geographer, giving the description of Tartary, notices the Kingdom of Arsareth, where the Ten Tribes, retiring, succeeding (other) Scythian inhabitants, and took the name Gauther (Goths), because they were very jealous for the glory of God. In another place, he found the Naphtalites, who had their hordes there. He also discovered the Tribe of Dan in the North, which has preserved it`s name.....They further add, that the remains of Ancient Israel were more numerous here than in Muscovy or Poland - from which it is concluded, that their habitation was fixed in Tartary (ie Scythia) from whence they passed into neighbouring places... it is no wonder to find the Ten Tribes dispersed there; since it was no great way to go from Assyria, whither they were transported, having only Armenia betwixt them" (pp90-92).

Rabbi Edrehi also finds Ancient Israel in France and Spain, for as he quotes the Prophet Obadi-Yah ch:7 vs 23,

"And the captivity of the host of the Children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites (ie Phoenicians), even unto Zarephath (France), and the Captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad (Spain)..." (page 266).

YAIR DAVIDY

In 1993, well-known modern-day Hebrew scholar and historian Yair Davidy, a prolific writer on the history of the Ten Lost Tribes published his book "The Tribes" which was the result of many years of study on the theme of the Ten Lost Tribes of Yisrael, and in it declares:

"Decendants from the Tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) seem to have been especially concentrated in the Nations who settled the British Isles, and through them, amongst all English-Speaking peoples of British Origin. These people have played a unique role in History over and beyond that of the other Israelite Nations as a whole. This historical record was appropriate to the character of their forefather, Joseph" (p.387).

`THE JEWISH ENCYCLOPEDIA`

Finally, we can quote no greater authority on the subject of the Ten Lost Tribes than the illustrious "The Jewish Encyclopedia", which, published in several editions since the 1890`s by Funk & Wagnalls, and under the subject of

"TRIBES, LOST TEN"

authoritatively states:

"The identification of the Sacae, or Scythians, with the Ten Tribes, because they appear in history at the same time, and very nearly in the same place, as the Israelites removed by Shalmanesar, is one of the chief supports of the theory which identifies the English People, and indeed the whole Teutonic Race, with the Ten Tribes" (Vol.12: p.250)
